Thursday, December 1, 2011, San Jose, CA - "Made the way you love it!" is the slogan that has captured the appetites of thousands of Northern California Asian coffee and dessert lovers. "The last three years has been and exciting ride for my three sisters and I as we have opened four Bambu stores in Northern California," exclaims Kelly Nguyen, a co-founder and owner of Bambu Desserts and Drinks, Inc. "We believe the time is right to start opening stores across the U.S. and even around the world.”
To achieve their goal of opening 40 more stores by the end of 2013, Bambu has hired Strategic Growth Initiative, Inc. (“SGI”) to build the roadmap and engine for building a nationwide distribution network of Bambu stores. Scott Bachman, SGI’s founder and CEO has helped develop many very successful distribution models. “This is an easy one. Everybody that has experienced a Bambu smoothie or dessert love it,” explained Mr. Bachman. “Our job is to bottle all the excitement and build a scalable infrastructure that will allow Bambu to grow quickly in multiple markets while enhancing, yet protecting its brand.”
SGI has partnered with MFAS Direct, a San Jose financial service company, to lead the distributor qualification and recruiting efforts. SGI and MFAS Direct have already created the framework to help qualified licensees to open their own Bambu within 90 days.
